Coronavirus: UKRI-NIHR funding announcement

UKRI-NIHR rapid-response research call announced to develop vaccines, therapeutics, diagnostics or address the epidemiology, spread or underpinning knowledge of the novel coronavirus
The remit of the call is for UK researchers – with Scottish researchers eligible – working with international partners where appropriate, to submit proposals for projects to develop vaccines, therapeutics, diagnostics or address the epidemiology, spread or underpinning knowledge of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak that emerged from Wuhan City, China.
There are two rapid-response research calls to tackle 2019-nCoV:
- active intervention development, closing date 12pm, Thursday 13 February
- diagnosing and understanding 2019-nCoV, closing date 12pm, Thursday 27 February
