Dr Bhautesh Jani

Dr Bhautesh Jani is an academic general practitioner (GP) and a Clinical Senior Lecturer in General Practice. Bhautesh joined University of Glasgow in August 2010 as a clinical lecturer, funded by the Scottish Clinical Research Excellence Development Scheme (SCREDS). Bhautesh was awarded a PhD in Primary Care Research by University of Glasgow in 2016 for his project entitled "Exploring the potential role of allostatic load biomarkers in risk assessment of patients presenting with depressive symptoms". Dr Jani was awarded a NRS Career Research Fellowship funded in 2017. He is currenlty working as a sessional GP in John Street Surgery in Bellshill and he is also the Cluster Quality Lead (CQL) for Bellshill area.
