NRS MSK Rheumatology Research Training, 10 June 2026 Show more Show less
We are planning to hold another ad hoc Rheumatology research training session on the afternoon of 10th June. On this occasion, Melissa Taylor, R&D Commercial Lead at NHS Lothian, will provide an overview of the role of R+D, particularly in setting-up commercial studies.
Commercial studies form a significant proportion of all the ongoing Rheumatology research activity and are an important source of research income so hopefully this session will have broad relevance. The session will start at 3pm on Microsoft Teams — contact Dr James Dale or Carol Williams for details how to join.
For information — we are hoping to run further ad hoc sessions in the future focussed on research finance and the new clinical trial regulations. More details to follow soon.
